I’m over the moon to share my new crochet pattern! Getting back into designing crochet patterns has been a long road this past year. I designed a few things just for family and friends, but I only just got the extra pep in my step to leap back into publishing designs! I truly love doing this and I hope the coming months bring many more designs to you.
My current favorite yarn is the Lion Brand Hue + Me. I just love the color palette and the coziness of this yarn! I let it inspire me into this bulky weight beanie, perfect for blustery days. This pattern uses large, textured stitches that are fun to make and work up quickly. The texture provides enough interest to make this hat with a single color like mine, but using multiple colors can give you more vibrant look. I wrote the pattern for sizes baby to adult so I could match my mini-me, and you can too! The texture of this hat is a tiny bit feminine, but I think it could work in a solid dark color for a more masculine look, too, so you could do a whole family set with this pattern! I hope you’ll share with me over on ole Instagram if you make one!
I am putting this one up in my shops. Currently it’s available on ravelry and Etsy. The stitches are mildy tricky, my testers rated this pattern intermediate. So if you need extra help, consider the PDF. It has photo tutorial pages for the stitches that will help you!
